During Viagem Medieval em Terra de Santa Maria, the “Vai-me à Loja: Centro Histórico” launched the “Decreto-Real: Compra Local” campaign at the Municipal Market, a giveaway that aims to encourage consumption in local shops and promote the neighbourhood's merchants.
The campaign lasted from July 30th to August 10th, and visitors were invited to post a photo in the “Vai-me à Loja” frame on their social media accounts and follow the project's official pages.
In the end, three giveaways were made, resulting in three winners who were announced on 12 August on social media. Each winner received a pack of three vouchers, worth 50€ each, to be used at three establishments in the Municipal Market: Horto Santa Maria, Frutaria da Cristina and Vila Moda.
This was the first giveaway organised by “Vai-me à Loja: Centro Histórico” and it proved to be a huge success, once it was very well received by visitors of Viagem Medieval em Terra de Santa Maria.
This campaign once again reinforced the commitment to boosting the local economy and the historic centre.
