On December 11, the Secretary of State for the Economy, João Rui Ferreira, visited the Historic Center of Santa Maria da Feira, accompanied by the Mayor, Amadeu Albergaria, as part of the ”Vai-me à Loja: Centro Histórico" Digital Shopping District Project.
This project, developed in partnership with the Feira Business Association (AEF), aims to revitalize local commerce, combining digital innovation with the tradition of local commerce.
During the afternoon, the streets of the Historic Centre gained a new dynamic, with activities organized by Zoo de Lourosa, Termas de S. Jorge, Grande Sábio, ArthenonCoop, Bilharacos Rock Band and Izen, which especially captivated the children and brought renewed energy to the city.
The initiative highlighted the role of the Digital Commercial Projects in the economic and cultural revitalization of the Historic Centres and reinforced their importance as dynamic spaces for community meetings.
